One of the main dangers of tree stand hunting, besides falling out, comes from drop weapons. Not only can this be a very dangerous situation, it can ruin the days hunt by causing damage to your rifle. Gun Safety Innovations has released the GUNSLINGER now and you have no excuse for mud filled barrels, damaged equipment or unsafe conditions anymore!

The Gunslinger addresses the common issue of safety while getting in and out of your tree stand. An uncontrolled hunting weapon may accidentally discharge, causing serious injury to you and those around you. Although the Gunslinger can not cover all situations, it gives you a serious solution to getting your weapon up to you once you are set up in your stand and doing it safely. Using a a secure attaching strap and Safe-Retrieve Tether™ and high quality components, the Gunslinger is simple and easy to use.

The components of the Gunslinger are basic and simple. The assembly consists of a heavy duty shock absorbing cord which attaches to the tree stand. This cord is connected to a 13 foot strap which is then connected to the Gun Stock Strap, which can be sized to fit the butt of almost any gun. The Safe-Retrieve™ tether is attached when raising and lowering a weapon from a tree stand. Once the rifle is raised to the tree stand, the Safe-Retrieve tether is disconnected and the rifle is attached directly to the Gunslinger assembly. The rifle is now secure and can be held in any shooting position. Should the weapon be dropped or fall from the tree stand, the Gunslinger insures the weapons falls barrel first, reducing the risk of hunter injury due to accidental discharge.
